All survivors of heart disease and stroke are invited to attend.Jim O’Neal, event chair, said invitations have been sent to all heart and stroke survivors on the Pike County Heart Association’s list.“However, it’s almost impossible for us to keep the list current,” O’Neal said. “But we do want all survivors of heart disease and stroke to attend this special celebration breakfast with us. You don’t have to have reservations or call. Just come and bring your spouse or your caregiver to share this time of recognition with you.”Those who have Red Caps are encouraged to wear them. Prizes will be awarded in different categories. There also will be games for the kids, entertainment, refreshments and informational booths. There is no admission charge but all donations to the Pike County Heart Walk are greatly needed and much appreciated.
