He was wearing a dark green hoody, jeans, white runners and was also wearing green gloves. He escaped in a silver Volvo S40 which was later recovered at Blackwater in Ardnacrusha. Gardaí at Mary Street are investigating and anyone who was in the vicinity of Corbally Road between 10.30am and 11.15am last Thursday morning or who has any information about the movements of the silver Volvo S40 which had a 00-MH registration should contact them.Robbery from shop safeArdnacrusha Gardai are investigating a theft at a shop near Barry’s Cross on Sunday October 7 when a man with a motor cycle helmet entered through a rear door and took a large sum of cash from a safe in an upstairs office. He walked across the road to a waiting motor cycle which was being driven by an accomplice.The culprit was described as being between 5’ 8” and 5’10” in height, medium build with a black coat, a woolly hat and blue jeans. New Delhi: India has bagged one more medal at World Wrestling Championships with Rahul Aware winning bronze in men’s 61kg freestyle category. Aware defeated Tyler Lee Graff, the 2017 Pan- America champion, 11-4 to take India’s tally to five medals.This is India’s best performance at the event. India’s previous best show was in 2013 when the country had three in their kitty courtesy Amir Dahiya (silver), Bajrang Punia (bronze) and Sandeep Tulsi Yadav (bronze in Greco-Roman)This is Maharashtra grappler’s biggest medal.
